Rappahannock	Selected by R. Neal Peterson as seedling of a tree in the Blandy Experimental Farm. Medium fruit size with a firm flesh, and few seeds (approx 7% by weight). Ripens Mid-September in Kentucky. Consistent size and symmetrical shape. This fruit typically exhibits a yellowish color break at picking stage. Flor is cheerful and very sweet, with a pleasant, lingering aftertaste. This tree has an unusual leaf habit, where the leaf is held horizontal-to-upright, making the fruit more visible under the canopy of lees. Patented 2004; propagation restrictions apply.	WV-PP
